How to use BoltRescue™

1. Choose the socket – the largest one that only just doesn't slip over the head.

2. Tap it on – drive the socket onto the rounded head with a hammer.

3. Turn anticlockwise – with a ratchet, breaker bar or impact wrench. The spiral flutes grip harder the more you turn.

BoltRescue has a 3/8" square drive and fits 3/8" ratchets and impact wrenches directly.

Does it work on nuts and bolts?

Yes. BoltRescue grips hex heads on both bolts and nuts, even when they are rounded or rusty.

Can I use an impact wrench?

Yes. The sockets are impact rated. Start with a ratchet and switch to the impact wrench if the bolt is very tight.

Can the socket be reused?

Yes, but the socket may stay stuck on the head afterwards. Knock it off with a punch through the back. With very heavy use the flutes wear over time.

Does it fit the Offset Extension?

Yes, with the 1/2"→3/8" adapter that comes with the Offset Extension Pro.
